Tips for Taking Care of Your Flowers
Taking good care of your flowers can dramatically help lengthen their life span. Follow these simple tips so your flowers will last longer.
- Look for flowers that appear to have just cracked open.
- When driving home from our store, place them on the floor of your car and out of direct sunlight.
- At home, cut off an inch from each stem, cutting diagonally.
- Place flowers in cold water, and change water every other day for best results.
- Store cut flowers away from electrical appliances, which can cause dehydration.
- A quick, easy way to bring roses back to life is to add 1/4 teaspoon of bleach to a quart of cold water to kill bacteria.
