Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie

This is one BIG chocolate chip cookie!

Yield: 48 bars

Ingredients

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 F.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

Beat butter, shortening, water, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Gradually add flour mixture and stir to combine. Stir in oat bran and chocolate chips. Chill dough in refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, line a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper. Spread chilled dough over parchment to cover bottom of pan.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Slide parchment paper onto wire rack to cool.

To add a message:
Spoon frosting into a plastic sandwich sized zip lock bag (or pastry bag). Seal closed then snip off one corner of the bag (1/8-inch) and with slight pressure force frosting through
opening and begin to scroll your personal message or design onto cookie.
