2 | pounds | Brussels sprouts, cleaned, trimmed and sliced in half | |

1/2 | teaspoon | sea salt | |

1/4 | teaspoon | black pepper | |

1/4 | cup | Nonna Luisa Extra Virgin Olive Oil | |

2 | Tablespoons | butter, melted | |
|
|||
1/2 | cup | Parmesan cheese | |
|
|||
1 1/2 | cups | seasoned Italian bread crumbs | |
|
Preheat oven to 475 degrees F
Steam Brussels sprouts for 8 to 10 minutes over high heat. Transfer to a greased 8- inch square casserole dish. Sprinkle or grind salt and pepper over Brussels sprouts, then drizzle olive oil and melted butter over the top. Bake on the top rack of preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until Brussels sprouts begin to turn light brown.
Remove from oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese and seasoned Italian bread crumbs over the Brussels sprouts. Return to the oven and place under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes, until the crumbs and the cheese turn golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
