When you are in this category, you're looking for convenience and selection. Despite the rare treasurers you'll find on our shelves, you probably shop here because we're near where you live. You know what you want and you'd prefer to buy it all in one trip. Whether it's Cheerios, Oreos, or Spaghetti -O's (hey, they'd stop making them if no one ever ate them)--you'll find them all on our shelves. Although we're not typical, the fact is we're still a big grocery store. Pantyhose. Gum. Toothpicks. Soda. Batteries. Jell-O. Pens. TV Dinners. Groceries. As long as there's room on our shelves, we'll continue to carry these things. They are, to the necessity shopper, the bread of life.


When you're a passion shopper, you don't just grab whatever's nearby. Your standards are higher and you're willing to search out the things you really want. Like health food. If you shop at a regular supermarket, you probably make special trips to a health food store for certain items. There are some areas where you simply don't compromise, and the supermarkets don't always carry the rare jewels you seek. We may be a big store, but we're not content just pleasing the masses. We know a lot of our customers look for specific, often hard-to-find things. Some people want organic foods. Others want ethnic foods. Others need certain food for medical reasons. Others just like to experiment. Local foods. Exotic foods. Esoteric foods. Take a stroll down our aisles and you'll find them all--and more of them than you'll find in any other supermarket.

We'd be proud of our produce section if all we offered were our commercially grown items, but they're only half of it. You'll find an amazing variety of natural and organic products from free range chickens to organic cereal, fruit and vegetable juice--even organic baby food.
